CRONOLOGÍA del Artista

Mario Pilonieta Rugeles (MAPIRU),  Terminó su bachillerato en el Colegio Agustiniano de Floridablanca (1974), e ingresó a la Universidad Santo Tomás para iniciar la carrera de Economía y Administración de Empresas; en los siguientes tres años de estudio se da cuenta que su pasión es la pintura, y en 1978 hace transferencia a la facultad de Arquitectura mientras comienza a trabajar a su vez como docente a sus 22 años en el Centro de capacitación Cajasan, en el área de artes manuales durante 4 años y posteriormente técnicas artísticas con personas adultas, donde permaneció durante 8 años más.

Desde 1982  comienza su carrera como artista con el Dibujo y la Pintura manteniendo siempre su propio taller; en adelante se vincula como docente en otras instituciones educativas a nivel medio y tecnológico con las cátedras de perspectiva, dibujo artístico, técnicas de expresión y dibujo, óleo, figura humana, historia del arte y de la arquitectura, teoría del color, Fotografía en Blanco y negro, serigrafía, etc.

En 1997 recibe el título de Arquitecto y su profesión la desarrolla en las Bellas Artes donde ha transcurrido toda su vida; No tiene sello propio, por eso su obra es un todo, es su conjunto, donde lo que lo motiva son los instantes, los momentos de estado de su pensamiento, de sus emociones y sus sentimientos acorde a los hechos y acontecimientos de su entorno que lo afectan tanto personal como colectivo.

Desde entonces viene realizando exposiciones individuales y colectivas las cuales lo han mantenido siempre vigente en este oficio; En la década de los años 80 su interés por la pintura y el dibujo se basaba en la representación de lo natural in situ o por medio de la fotografía; sus temas preferidos: la figura humana, los bodegones, los paisajes rurales, dentro de su estilo particular que lo caracteriza. 

Posteriormente, en el transcurso de los años 90 experimenta con formas de carácter expresionista, con colores fuertes y descomposición de las formas reales, donde intentaba generar un contenido conceptual.

    

Para la década de 2000 al año 2010 incursiona en el abstracto, con rasgos figurativos y algunas veces abstracción pura sin ninguna pretensión más que de la composición y emotividad del color como esencia.

  

   

En el año 2003 se traslada a Bogotá y  tras haber sido seleccionado para el V Premio del Salón Internacional de Dibujo y Pintura "Quijote de Oro" en el año 2009,  se interesa entonces por investigar y estar al día sobre medios y modos de hacer contemporáneos a partir del  año 2010, por lo tanto a través de becas, seminarios y talleres con IDARTES (Institución Pública), se interesa por experimentar nuevos modos de hacer y contenidos, obteniendo así la Beca "ELEP" Escuela Libre de Experimentación Plástica - Nuevos procesos de producción, con Idartes en convenio con la Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano en el año 2012, Tercer puesto en el XI Salón de Arte Barrio Bienal para artistas empíricos en el año 2013, El Taller Laboratorio "Campos de acción en la Plástica Diferentes a la Exhibición" en el año 2013, La IX Bienal de Arte MACI - Movimiento Artístico y Cultural Indígena - SUBA en 2014, Seleccionado para XV Salón Regional de artistas Colombianos Zona Oriente en 2015, Seleccionado para CURARE44 - Alterno - Escenario de Prácticas Contemporáneas en 2016, y Seleccionado para el VII Salón de arte MIRE - Memoria Identidad y Región "El Maíz" en 2016 y 2017 entre otras más exposiciones tanto individuales como colectivas hasta el año 2018. En el año 2019 también realiza algunas exposiciones colectivas y en Febrero es beneficiado para una de las 90 becas de Creación, Formación y Circulación en ARTBO - TUTOR 2019 en el Marco de la XV Feria Internacional ARTBO, programa de la Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá, Idartes y el Apoyo de la Alcaldía Mayor de Bogotá.

MAPIRU, born in the city of Bucaramanga, Santander del Sur - Colombia, on August 19, 1956. He finished his secondary education at the Augustinian College of Floridablanca (1974), and he entered the University of Santo Tomás to start his career in Economics and Business Administration; in the following three years of study he realizes that his passion is painting, and in 1978 he makes transfer to the Faculty of Architecture while he begins to work as a teacher at the age of 22 at the Cajasan Training Center in the area of ​​manual arts during 4 years and later artistic techniques with adults, where it remained during 8 years more.  Since 1982 he began his career as an empirical artist. From now on he is linked as a teacher in several educational institutions at the medium and technological level with the chairs of perspective, artistic drawing, techniques of expression and drawing, oil, human figure, history of art and architecture, color theory, White Photography and black, silk-screen, etc.  In 1997 he received the title of Architect and his profession developed in the Fine Arts where he has spent his entire life, He does not have his own stamp, that is why his work is a whole, it is his whole, where what motivates him are the instants, the moments of state of his thought, his emotions and his feelings according to the events and events of his environment that it affects both personal and collective.  In the decade of the 80's his interest in painting and drawing was based on the representation of the natural in situ or through photography; his favorite subjects: the human figure, the still life, the rural landscapes, within his particular style that characterized him as empirical.  Subsequently, in the course of the 1990s he experimented with forms of expressionist character, with strong colors and decomposition of the real forms, where he tried to generate a conceptual content.  For the decade of 2000 to the year 2010 enters the abstract, with figurative features and sometimes pure abstraction with no pretension other than the composition and emotionality of color as essence.  He moved with his wife and children in 2003 to the city of Bogota and after being selected for the V Prize of the International Drawing and Painting Fair "Quijote de Oro" (2009), he began his research on contemporary media in the year 2010 through grants, seminars and workshops with IDARTES, where he applies new ways of doing and contents, which has led him to obtain the "ELEP" Scholarship Free School of Plastic Experimentation - New production processes, with Idartes in agreement with the Jorge University Tadeo Lozano (2012), Third Place with Economic Stimulus at the XI Biennial Art Hall for Empirical Artists (2013), The Laboratory Workshop "Fields of Action in Plastic Other than Exhibition" (2013), The IX Biennial of Art MACI - Artistic and Cultural Movement Indigenous - SUBA (2014),Selected and Economic stimulus for the elaboration of the work of the 15th Regional Salon of Colombian artists Zona Oriente (2015), Selected for CURARE44 - Alternate - Scenario of Contemporary Practices (2016), and Selected for the VII Art Show MIRE - Memory Identity and Region "El Maíz" (2016), among others.
